Charles E. Forney Joins Brick Gentry P.C. as an Associate

Brick Gentry welcomes Charles E. Forney as an Associate Attorney.

Charles discovered his passion for innovation at an early age. Growing up in Ames, Iowa he was captivated by the world of technology and constantly sought answers to how things worked. This insatiable curiosity led to a deep appreciation for the importance of intellectual property in fostering innovation.

After completing his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at Iowa State University, Charles went on to attend Drake University Law School where he honed his legal skills and developed a deep understanding of intellectual property law.

While in law school, Charles was drawn to the complex and dynamic field of patent law. The protection of innovative ideas and inventions resonated deeply with him, leading to a focus on patent prosecution. The rigorous study of patents and intellectual property law, including coursework in patent drafting and patent litigation, prepared Charles for his future career.

Charles enjoys working closely with clients from a wide range of industries to develop Intellectual Property portfolios tailored to their individual needs. Charles Forney is a registered Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
